Amyris Essential Oil is a warm woody essential oil known for its soft, dry, balsamic, slightly sweet, mildly smoky, and sandalwood-like character. It is commonly used in perfumery to add smooth woody depth, natural warmth, softness, and long-lasting base-note support.
Odor Family: Woody / Balsamic / Soft Smoky / Warm / Sandalwood-like
Appearance: Pale yellow to amber or yellow-brown liquid, depending on origin and distillation.
Odor Profile: Soft woody, dry, warm, balsamic, slightly sweet, creamy, mildly smoky, resinous, and smooth.
Perfumery Uses: Suitable for woody, amber, oriental, incense, leather, musk, chypre, fougère, natural-style, and sandalwood-type compositions. It works well in woody perfumes, amber blends, incense accords, musk bases, masculine, and unisex fragrances.
Suggested Usage: Start at 0.20% to 5.00% of the fragrance concentrate and adjust through testing.
